Smile…

By the way my friends call me Miguel… First, I will get the basics out-of-the-way,  I’m 57 years old and used to way 285 lbs; these days down to around 240 and motivated to reach 210 in the next 6 month. Actually weight is just the recent venture in personal growth and transformation. I also quit smoking because it had become a central issue in my life and one where my wife’s love for me was relentlessly adamant about me dealing with.

It is love that finally inspired me to have the courage to change the things I could and accept the things I could not… the wisdom part is and probably always will be a work in progress.

Being a proverbial renaissance guy who likes to draw, paint, write, photography, write music, play guitar and sing I think it is safe to say I enjoys doing stuff that is creative. I hate sports, and love to read fiction, spending quality time with my wife, friends and doing corny things like having Game Night with our rotating band of many friends.  This blog is where I intend to write about the things that I am actually doing or what the impact of what I’m do has on others. I will comment on the things that I think are worthwhile and the shit that pisses me off… Now I am going to take a breath and choose my next action carefully. FYI: MOTL is an acronym for More On This Later. So for now MOTL now isn’t that convenient. Right now I am getting on my spin bike to work dropping some more weight… Hello 210 woohoo!

  1. Hi Miguel,

    Friendly greetings from Hamburg, Germany.

While wishing you all the best along your creative path, please allow me, as a business English trainer, to assist you with the following corrections:

“I used to WEIGH 285 lb.”

…”is, and probably always will be, a work in…”

…”guy who like to photograph (or take photos)”…

    …”impact of what I’m DOING”…

    Best wishes from Eimsbuettel

    Gwendolyn
